Red clover, Want to join me for some journaling? I’ve included a free PDF download of my personal Garden Journal in this email!
The Garden Journal is a record of all that happens in your medicine patch—which plants thrive and which ones flounder, the birds and pollinators that come to call, problem insects and diseases you encounter, weather observations, the location of annual herbs and crops, and any other notes or events you’d like to remember.
Recording this year’s garden observations will help you plan for more abundance and beauty next year!
The Garden Journal has three parts (all printable!): A chart to record observations about the herbs and plants in your garden A grid for mapping your garden each year so you can rotate annual plants next season, keep track of cover crops, and plan for new perennials A general notes section for writing down big-picture observations and future hopes and dreams
I recommend printing out enough pages for several years to come and getting them spiral bound or organizing them in a binder. Swallowtail butterflies and hummingbird moths,
Juliet
