This is a fictional scene…. However facts such as Shamans using animals for rituals go all the way back to times of Gobekli Tepe. According to an article in The Journal of Ritual Studies (2015) Vessels found at Gobekli Tepe, an ancient monument dating 15000 years BCE, located in Turkey, the vessels found there showed the use of animals during ritual. So it can now be said that animals have been used in Shamanic ceremonies for AT LEAST 14000 years is not sooner.
